Turbot (White Fish)

The turbot is a large left-eyed flatfish found primarily near the shore in shallow sandy waters throughout the Mediterranean, the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea and the North Atlantic. The European turbot has an asymmetric disc-shaped body and is known to grow to up to 100 cm in length and 25 kg in weight.
